The collective bargaining team has compiled a working draft of the City's contract proposals and also incorporated them into the current agreement. Included are our proposals as well as the City's counter proposal to our health insurance proposal. All sessions of negociations are posted on the City website, under the collective bargaining-fire. Follow this link, http://home.elpasotexas.gov/video.php and scroll down to the bottom of the page under Archived Events. Look on the left hand column. Your feedback is requested.
Here is a list of the meetings we have scheduled with the city:
June 17th noon at the hall.
June 23rd at City Hall 10am-4pm
July 8th at City Hall 10am-4pm (60th DAY OF NEGOTIATIONS)
July 9th and July 10th at the hall 10am-4pm
July 15, 16, 17th 10am-4pm TBD
July 22nd 10am-4pm TBD
July 29, 30, 31st 10am-4pm TBD
As you can see, we have scheduled a good number of meetings but anything after July 8th is tentative and is subject to change.
