Retired Firefighter WALTER THOMAS

Walter W. Thomas, 73, passed away Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013, in Arlington. Memorial service: 2 p.m. Thursday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Walter was born Dec. 26, 1940, in El Paso to Robert and Ethel Thomas. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was a retired firefighter and served with the El Paso Fire Department. Survivors: Wife, Dovie G. Thomas; daughter, Cheryle Leigh Thomas; and sisters, Lynn Reist and Retha McCall.
