     Retired Battalion Chief Joseph Doyle

    It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of Joseph Sylvester Doyle, Jr. on March 5, 2013 in San Antonio. He was a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Son, Brother and Uncle. He was born on December 23, 1955 in Great Lakes, Illinois and was a long time resident of El Paso, Texas. He graduated from Irvin High School in 1974. Earned an Associates Degree in Applied Science and after 28 years with the City of El Paso Fire Department, he retired as Battalion Chief. He is preceded in death by his father Joseph Sylvester Doyle, Sr. and sister Patricia Rhodes. He is survived by his wife of 25 years Marie Doyle; sons Garrett and James; mother Esther; brothers Kenneth and Michael; and sisters Marie Crump, Mary Miller, and Lillie Zanni. Your presence, we'll miss. Your memory, we'll treasure. Loving you always. Forgetting you never. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00PM on Sunday, March 10, 2013 at Schertz Funeral Home with a Rosary being recited at 7:00PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00AM on Monday, March 11, 2013 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Selma, with interment following at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
